Certified Farmers' Markets benefit the agricultural and consumer communities by offering a direct marketing opportunity for agricultural products, and provide a great opportunity for small farmers to connect directly with consumers.  Small farmers can experience a rise in net income by using this direct marketing opportunity, and consumers are able to meet the farmer and learn about how their food supply is produced.
